  • Should we make alcohol illegal also? Look at the people who get addicted to booze, go into rehab, go to jail for DUI, or can't pay for medical expenses due for their wasted livers and kidneys. The taxpayers foot that bill also. No parallel there?

  • Driving while on ANY substance that impairs your ability to react or your perception is dumb period. Whether it's alcohol, pot, or medication prescribed by your doctor, it shouldn't be done. The fact remains, that although alcohol is considered "legal", it is a drug and people abuse it.

  • I personally know several people who smoke (many in high paying, high profile and professional occupations) and many others who don't. I would have to say that 95% of those that smoke appear to be just as intelligent and "with it" as the ones who don't.

  • Why is everyone so shocked and surprised? This kind of half-assed, jackhole propaganda has been going on since people in this country have been running for any office. Dems do it to Repubs and then Repubs do it to Dems. So why all the shock? I just laugh and shakle my head at all of it anymore.
